§ Mr. Allan StewartThe total number of jobs in the Inverclyde enterprise zone is now 1,000. Information on the breakdown of these jobs into the categories requested is not held centrally and could be obtained only by approaching the individual firms in the zone.
§ Dr. GodmanTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland on how many occasions he has taken action against companies located in the Inverclyde enterprise zone because of serious reductions in employment; if this action involved the triggering of clawback arrangement; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Allan StewartIt has not been necessary to take action against any company in the Inverclyde enterprise zone because they have suffered serious reductions in employment.
