§ Mr. McLoughlinIn March 1992, the latest date for which estimates are available, there were 66,500 employees in employment in the coal extraction and manufacture of solid fuels industries in Great Britain. Jobs indirectly dependent upon the size of the coal mining industry are classified to those industries in which they occur—for example, the production and distribution industries—and are not separately identified.
