§ Mr. MacleanOn 13 May the Government announced that they intended to form a partnership with British Gas and the regional electricity companies to establish an independent Energy Saving Trust to develop and propose new programmes to promote the efficient use of energy. My right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade is considering future arrangements for the promotion of renewable energy as part of the current review of renewable energy strategy.
