§ Mr. RedmondTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is the number of females who have reported being raped during the last 12 months in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. MatesI am informed by the Chief Constable that the most recent figures available show that during the 12-month period 1 May 1991 to 30 April 1992 the Royal Ulster Constabulary received 108 reports of rape from females.
