§ Mr. BaldryIn 1991 about 51,900 dwellings were sold by local authorities in England under the right-to-buy legislation, approximately 13,900 of which were flats. The average price paid after discount for sitting-tenant sales, the vast majority of which are right-to-buy sales, is estimated to be £20,800 in 1991.
§ Mr. O'HaraTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a table showing, for each region in England, the number of local authority homes sold under the right-to-buy legislation since its introduction and that figure as a percentage of the total number of properties owned by local authorities in the region.
