I meet the chairman of British Coal on regular occasions and discuss a variety of issues.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade when he expects to publish his proposals for the privatisation of the mining industry.

No decision has yet been taken on the form or timing of the Government's policy announcement on coal privatisation.
