§ Mr. McMasterTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what annual salaries, allowances or honoraria are paid to the chairman and each member of Argyll and Clyde health board; if any increases or decreases in these are planned; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Allan StewartThe chairman of Argyll and Clyde health board currently receives remuneration of £17,700 per annum and non-executive members receive £5,000. In addition, the chairman and members are entitled to claim travelling and subsistence allowances at rates set for members of public bodies. No immediate changes in remuneration and allowances are currently planned, but the position is being kept under review.
