To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if she will list by name and location the organisations which(a) have been awarded the "Investor in People" recognition and (b) are in the process of working towards the standard required for the award.

The latest available numerical information from the training and enterprise councils in England and Wales and local enterprise companies in Scotland is that at 31 March 1992, 1,010 organisations were formally committed to work towards recognition.
