§ Mr. CurryThe Government conduct some research into potential biofuel crops, the scale of which is kept under review. However, whether biofuels are produced and marketed will ultimately depend on the economics. At present biofuels such as biodiesel cost about three times as much to produce as fuels from conventional sources.
