To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will place in the Library the Hambros Bank Ltd report on the privatisation of Northern Ireland airports commissioned by his Department.

Mr. Atkins

I am unable to do so for a number of reasons. The Hambros report is confidential to the Government and any disclosure of the facts or opinions contained in the report may be commercially damaging to Northern Ireland Airports Limited and may adversely affect the terms upon which privatisation can be achieved. The report also contains information of a security sensitive nature.
