§ Mr. McLoughlinThe Government have announced their intention to pay grants through training and enterprise councils for the establishment of after-school and school holiday child care schemes. The Department is consulting relevant organisations about implementation of this grant programme. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Employment has had discussions with the working group which advises her on women's issues and expects to announce further details of the programme later this year.
