To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list British assistance to Slovakia; what are the levels of assistance for 1992–93; and if he will make a statement.

British bilateral assistance is provided to Czechoslovakia under the know-how fund—KHF. For 1992–93 we expect expenditure to amount to some £6 million. There is no separate programme for either Slovakia or the Czech lands. An updated list of all KHF projects was placed in the Library of the House on 29 June.
