To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many households in the network installer area including the Shettleston constituency have benefited from home energy efficiency scheme grants since its inception in 1991.

Within the network installer area which contains the hon. Member's constituency, 4,828 homes have benefited from HEES grant since 1 January 1991.

Mr. Ingram

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many houses have been improved under the home energy efficiency scheme since its inception in 1991 in the network installer area including East Kilbride.

Mr. Maclean

Within the network installer area which contains the hon. Member's constituency, 7,073 homes have benefited from HEES grant since 1 January 1991.
