§ Mr. CoeTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he will publish the responses received to the Government's consultation paper on proposals for implementation of EC directive 90/313/EC on the freedom of access to information on the environment.
§ Mr. MacleanI have today placed copies of responses in my Department's library. A list of respondents has also been placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
My Department is carefully considering the responses received. We will consult widely on the proposed regulations to implement the directive and on the guidance we are preparing to accompany the regulations.
