To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the number of licensed renderers in each year since 1987.

The statutory requirement for renderers to register their premises with this Department was introduced in 1989 in the Processed Animal Protein Order 1989.

The number of renderers premises registered under that requirement in each year since then has been:
