§ Mr. Charles WardleIt is for chief officers of police to consider whether publicising facilities for the disposal of knives would be a worthwhile crime prevention initiative in their force area. I understand that the Metropolitan police have recently launched a publicity campaign, which will run until 16 August, and that a similar campaign is planned for Greater Manchester in September.
