§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeThe review of the files dealing with the evacuation of the civilian population from several villages in East Anglia including Shingle Street during the second world war, which the Home Office has on extended closure, has now been completed. I have decided that all the files will be opened to access in the Public Record Office as soon as possible.
