§ Mr. FreemanEstimates of bus passenger miles in each of the areas subject to bus deregulation are not available. However, estimates of local bus passenger journeys are as follows. Overall, the number of local bus passenger journeys outside London fell by an average of 3½ per cent. year between 1984 and 1990–91, in line with long-term trends.
