How many applications have been made in the last five years to the Secretary of State under Section 2 of the Education Act 1973 and by which dioceses; how many such applications have been granted and orders made; and whether copies will be placed in the Printed Paper Office as soon as they are made.

The number of applications made to the Secretary of State in the last five years for an order under Section 2 of the Education Act 1973 in total and by which Church of England dioceses, together with the number or orders made to date for each diocese in respect of those applications, is set out in the table below. Copies of orders are placed in the Printed Paper Office as soon as practicable after they have been made.
