§ Mr. McLoughlinThe Department is unable to make public its findings on the hours worked by ratings on Sealink Stena Stranraer to Larne service ferries because of undertakings given to respect the confidentiality of the seafarers concerned. However, I can confirm that an investigation has been undertaken and that steps have been put in hand by the company at the Department's request to ensure that working hours are properly recorded.
