§ Mr. CurryA total of 277 offences were identified in 1991 relating to illegal landings of fish. Of these, 81 resulted in prosecutions and 92 in warnings; 104 are still outstanding. (All figures are provisional.) Enforcement procedures, both ashore and at sea, are kept under regular review to maximise their effectiveness in controlling illegal landings of fish and other breaches of EC or national legislation.
