§ Mr. Peter LloydI have no plans to do so. Under the Firearms Act 1968 firearms dealers (whether owners of gun shops or not) must be registered with the chief officer of police in whose area their business is located. Under the Firearms Rules 1989 the register held by the police may be kept manually or on computer.
