§ Mrs. RumboldThe total number of deaths in 1991 which resulted from an act of deliberate self-harm was 41. Of the 26 inquests which have so far been held into these deaths, a verdict of suicide was recorded in 20. The establishments at which the deaths occurred are listed in the table.
