§ Sir George YoungThe RENAVAL programme for the travel-to-work area of Plymouth was approved by the European Commission on 20 December 1900. The inaugural meeting of the programme co-ordinating committee was held on 21 March 1991. Some European regional development fund payments have already been authorised in respect of the programme.
