§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe next meeting of the UN conference on disarmament ad hoc group of scientific experts' is to be held in Geneva between 2 and 13 March. The main subject for discussion at the meeting will be the preparation of the final report on the results of the group of scientific experts (GSE) technical test 2 for submission to the conference on disarmament. The United Kingdom will participate in the discussions aimed at achieving a consensus report. In addition, a technical working paper summarising local seismic information and aimed at improving the definition of United Kingdom seismic sources will be tabled. It is hoped this will stimulate other GSE participants to publish similar information for application to small seismic sources which occur within their national boundaries.
