§ Mr. GillTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what assessment he has made of the extent to which grant in aid militates against the creation of a level playing field for commercial undertakings;
(2) how many commercial undertakings, and at what cost, have been grant-aided in each of the past 10 years;
(3) how many new jobs have been created in each of the past 10 years as a result of grant-aiding commercial undertakings;
(4) what assessment he has made of the effect upon the relative competitiveness of self-financing companies trading in the same sector as companies in receipt of grant aid.
