§ Mr. David HuntNet farm income figures for lowland livestock farms have not been published separately since 1984–85. The extension of the less-favoured areas (LFAs) in that year led to a change in classification of a substantial number of lowland livestock farms to LFA livestock farms, and the resulting lowland livestock sample figures became statistically unreliable. Figures for hill and upland cattle and sheep farms for the period 1985–86 to 1989–90 are:
