§ Mr. LeighMy Department has no controls over the sale of toys carrying cigarette brand logos. The use of cigarette brand logos on toys is a moral issue rather than a safety one and is not covered by the Toys (Safety) Regulations.
However, I understand that tobacco companies have not given permission for the use of their logos on toys.
Consumers can make it clear to suppliers of toys that they will not buy toys which bear cigarette brand logos.
