§ Mr. MacleanIn June, my Department consulted on proposals to extend the statutory abatement procedures of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to include noise in the street. The responses to this consultation are currently being considered. If new legislation is introduced, potential savings and additional costs will be taken into account in revenue support grant settlements for the appropriate financial year.
