To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what sums have been allocated to the City of Dundee district council for housing repairs and maintenance in each of the past five years.

The level of a local authority's expenditure on the repairs and maintenance of its housing stock is a matter for decision by the local authority concerned. The expenditure by the City of Dundee district council on the repairs and maintenance of its housing stock in each of the past five years, as recorded in returns made to the Scottish Office Environment Department, is as follows:
