§ Earl Russellasked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether, in the light of correspondence between Camden Department of Education, the Headmistress of Parliament Hill School and the Department for Education, they have anything to add to the Written Answer of the Baroness Blatch on December 3rd (H.L. Deb. Col. WA 98) on Parliament Hill School's 'A' level results.
§ The Minister of State, Department of Education (Baroness Blatch)As I said in my previous reply, none of the amendments submitted by Parliament Hill School related to A-level results. The noble Lord has now sent me a copy of a letter from the William Ellis School to our contractors which contains an instruction to transfer A-level results from the William Ellis School to the Parliament Hill School. Unfortunately, while the contractors received and processed the amendments for the William Ellis School which were sent with the letter, they have no record of having received the letter itself. That is why the instruction in the letter to transfer the Parliament Hill results was not followed. In view of the exceptional circumstances of this case, we shall issue a correction slip listing the correct A-level results for the Parliament Hill School and William Ellis School.
