§ Mr. Llew SmithTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what proportion of the low-level radioactive waste stockpiled at the Drigg disposal site originates from the reprocessing of imported foreign nuclear fuel.
§ Mr. EggarI have been asked to reply.
I understand from British Nuclear Fuels plc that, at the end of March 1992, some 5 per cent. by volume of the low-level radioactive waste disposed of at Drigg had arisen from the reprocessing of spent fuel from overseas.
