§ Mr. TredinnickTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, what consideration his Department has given to COST project B4—"Unconventional Medicine", originated in Switzerland; and if he will make it his policy to consider supporting any formal proposal submitted to the United Kingdom Government.
Mr. JacksonMy Department has recently been notified that COST project B4 is now formally open for signature. The proposal has been circulated and we have already received a response from an interested party. As with all COST projects, the United Kingdom will need to be satisfied that prospective participants will be able to fulfil their commitment for the full term of the project before undertaking to sign the memorandum of understanding.
