§ Mr. Robin Squire[holding answer 9 December 1992]: I refer the hon. Member to my answer of 23 June 1992, Official Report, column 132. The 1987–88 prices quoted can be converted into 1989–90 prices by multiplying by 1.143. For 1992–93 £4.0 million of the special budget was transferred to support city challenge round 1. Provisional allocation of the £4.4 million balance for 1992–93 is as follows:
