§ Mr. Nicholas BennettThe number of cases of juvenile macular degeneration is not recorded centrally. However, information available indicates that there were only seven admissions of persons under the age of 16, to hospitals in Wales during the 10 year period 1981–1990, where this diagnosis was recorded.
