To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether family planning provision in Northern Ireland is based on the same principles as those laid down in the "Family Planning Service, Memorandum of Guidance," issued by the DHSS in 1974; and if he will make a statement.

Yes. The memorandum of guidance on the family planning service in Northern Ireland, which was issued in 1975, follows broadly the principles laid down by the Department of Health and Social Security in 1974.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what progress has been made in establishing a Brook Advisory Service in Northern Ireland; and if he will make a statement.
