Mr. JacksonThe available estimates of the numbers of visits by domestic tourists and by overseas residents to the Heart of England tourist board area for each year from 1979 to 1990 are contained in the following table. There were also 70 million same-day visits by residents of Great Britain in the 12 months between March 1988 and April 1989.
