Mr. Flynn

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has had any recent meetings with representatives from the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities to discuss(a) plans to dispose of nuclear waste in Scotland and (b) the plans for an environmental protection agency.

No such meetings have taken place. The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities will be among the bodies to be consulted in the consultations on the Government's proposals for a Scottish environmental protection agency.
