HC Deb 25 November 1991 vol 199 cc365-6W
Mr. Churchill

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what investigations are taking place into the circumstances in which the United States citizen Mr. Fred Leuchter entered the United Kingdom after being barred from entry on the ground that his presence could not be conducive to the public good, and into the role of Mr. David Irving in procuring his entry; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Peter Lloyd

Investigations have shown that Mr. Leuchter was admitted entirely inadvertently. Steps have been taken to avoid a recurrence. He was returned overseas on 16 November.
