To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make it his practice to require health authorities to report to him the reasons for any dismissals from the post of unit general manager within hospitals in Wales.

No. As I said in my reply on 17 October 1991 contractual matters pertaining to general managers fall entirely within the operational responsibilities of the employing authority.
