§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe Children Act requires information received from local authorities and others to be laid before Parliament. We expect to lay a report before Parliament on the implementation of the Act by the end of 1992. The statistical return for the first year of operation of the Act should be available in 1993. There are no plans to introduce quarterly reporting on residential child care.
