§ Mr. Archie HamiltonA delegation representing the Maralinga aborigine population met my noble Friend the Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces and senior officials on 30 October. They presented their views on the further rehabilitation of the former nuclear test sites at Maralinga and Emu field, and on the question of compensation for any remaining restrictions on access that might remain once any rehabilitation is complete. Both sides found the meetings useful.
