§ Mr. PendryTo ask the Secretary of State for Health further to the written answer of 19 February,Official Report, column 87, to the hon. Member for Stalybridge and Hyde, what progress has been made on deciding the timetable, agency and funding of the Government's proposed survey into the prevalence of the misuse of steroid drugs.
§ Mr. DorrellWe have identified a research facility with the relevant expertise to carry out this survey and, subject to final contract negotiations, plan to conduct the survey in the autumn. We estimate that the survey will take approximately one year to complete.
