To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether the speed of the delivery programme for the general service respirator S 10 has been changed in the past six months.

Contract deliveries of SIO respirator facepieces were increased in the last quarter of 1990 to support Gulf deployment requirements. Deliveries have now returned to the normal rate.
