What progress has been made to alleviate congestion at the Crest Hotel roundabout on the A.1 near Peterborough.

A scheme for a bridge at Norman Cross separating the A.1 traffic from traffic on the A.15 (to which I referred in my previous Answer of 31st January 1989) has now been incorporated into broader proposals to upgrade the A.1 to motorway between Alconbury and Peterborough. It is hoped to publish these proposals as draft orders under the Highways Act 1980 later this year.
