§ Mr. Win GriffithsTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many representations he has received on the disclosure of criminal records of the convictions of taxi licence applicants since last October and over the last 12 months.
§ Mr. Peter LloydWe have received 65 representations on this subject during the period 17 June 1990—16 May 1991, some 50 of them after 1 November 1990. In addition, we have had regular discussions and exchanges of correspondence with the Association of County Councils, the Association of District Councils and the Association of Metropolitan Authorities.
