189WI am grateful to the scrutiny team for its work and for its clear and comprehensive report. Its findings and recommendations will make a vital contribution to improving the training that the probation service will need to support its future work as a major criminal justice agency.
We are consulting the probation service and others with a view to its implementation as soon as practicable.
