To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he plans to introduce the care in the community programme.

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has any plans to pass the care in the community proposals into health board control.

[holding answer 2 May 1991]: The Government's policy on responsibilities for community care remains as set out in the White Paper "Caring for People" and the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990.
