§ Mr. Kenneth BakerExisting Home Office guidelines to district and London borough councils in England and Wales emphasise their statutory obligation to designate as polling places, so far as is practicable, only places which are accessible to disabled people. We shall discuss with representatives of local authorities whether there are other ways of making it easier for disabled people to exercise their right to vote.
