Mr. Beith

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the year-on percentage change in the retail prices index(a) excluding the community charge and mortgage interest payments for each month since April 1989, (b) excluding rates and mortgage interest payments for each month between June 1987 and April 1989 and (c) excluding mortgage interest payments for each month since June 1987.
